Fund the Future of WomenzShed
WomenzShed is fundraising to secure and set up a permanent, women-led community wood workshop. This will be a space where people of all ages and backgrounds can learn practical skills like woodworking, DIY, and related skills that are essential for confidence, creativity, and capability. Your support will help us provide access to a fully equipped workshop, expert instruction and support for community projects.

$5 / month – provides consumables such as sandpaper, glue, and fixings for workshops.
$10 / month – helps supply essential hand tools for participants.
$20 / month – contributes towards larger equipment and power tools.
$50 / month – supports renting and maintaining dedicated workshop space.
$100 / month – enables the expansion of programmes and outreach to more women across Aotearoa.
Demand for our wood workshops continues to grow and a permanent space will allow us to reach more women and expand the impact we have made to date. To make this a reality, we are inviting sponsorship from values-aligned businesses and organisations who want to invest in practical empowerment and gender equity within the woodworking, DIY and trades space.
Sponsors will be recognised as foundational partners in a nationally visible initiative. Benefits can include brand placement within the space, acknowledgment across our digital platforms, co-branded workshop opportunities, and involvement in community projects. This is an opportunity to align with a movement that is reshaping access and participation for women in spaces they remain significantly underrepresented and often excluded.
