Wētā are one of New Zealand’s most recognisable creepy-crawlies and have become icons for invertebrate conservation in New Zealand because many species are threatened or endangered.  So in support of the fabulous work carried out by our community partner Urban Ark – Manawa Taiao, we on-sell these wētā hotels if they’re not taken home by their makers at our workshops and may vary slightly from the picture on our website.

Great for getting children interested in creepy crawlies or an alternative gift to keen gardeners.

All profits go to our Women’s Empowerment Fund.

Shipment is available on this product though pick up can also be arranged from our Sandringham, Auckland workshop.
